The
Sharp AR-M277 is a 27-PPM Digital Duplex Copier- Based MFP and includes
48 MB memory, 2 x 500-sheet paper cassettes, 100- sheet bypass tray,
and 100-sheet RSPF.
The 27-PPM AR-M277 Digital Imager combines leading edge technology
with an easy-to-use touch screen display, so users can spend less
time at the machine and more time at their business at hand. This
model includes a 100-sheet reversing document feeder that scans
up to 43 originals per minute, as well as auto duplexing, electronic
sorting and JBIG speed-enhanced PC printing. And, that’s just

PCL6 and Postscript Level 3 printing, enhanced network scanning,

resolution. Sharp’s host-based print controller utilizes JBIG
compression, which reduces the file size of print jobs so that
they print faster. Additionally, the AR-M277 imager also comes
with a standard USB-2.0 interface, which supports data transfer
rates up to 40 times faster than USB-1.1! For added performance
and functionality, the optional PCL6 print controller with standard
imbedded network capability combines leading edge digital technology
with best-in-class features. With 1200 DPI true output resolution
and standard 10/100baseT networking, the AR-M277 Imager can deliver
ultra crisp printed documents over your network quickly and efficiently.
The PCL6 print controller also offers advanced job control features
that include job auditing and job retention, as well as carbon
copy print mode, proof printing, and form/font downloads.
Enhanced Network Scanning
The AR-M277 advanced scan-to-email function allows users to send
documents to any email address on the Internet. And, with built
in LDAP (lightweight directory access protocol), the ARM277 can
search the email addresses registered in your customer’s mail-server
global address book. With this feature, users don’t have to stand
in front of the machine entering an entire email address when
performing a scan-to-email operation – they simply enter the first
few characters and the machines will pull up a list to choose
from.
